The chartreuse from Verdant Valleys, sitting against indigo this time. Layered slow, a day between each pass. It was working — that was the problem. I kept wanting one more dot, one more line, one more layer. Put the pen down twice and picked it back up twice. The third time I put it down I walked out of the room.
